This place wasn't too shabby! We randomly decided to drive to Washington Court House one weekend and were surprised to find a Japanese/Thai restaurant. I was feeling some thai spice so we decided to give it a try. The interior was nice and simple. It didn't seem dirty or anything. It's kinda cool that the restaurant is in an old shop in the little downtown part of town. It gives it a little more charm compared to a regular strip mall. The service was great! Our server was nice and friendly. The food came out fast as well. The menu had some Japanese, Thai, and typical asian dishes. I noticed they had hibachi at a reasonable price. They don't actually cook it in front of you like some other restaurants do though. I wasn't sure about that when I first saw this place on yelp. We ordered a spicy tuna roll, spring rolls, Tom yum goong, and general Tso's chicken. We started off with salads and the sushi roll. The salad dressing was pretty good but rich. It tasted kinda like a sesame or peanut sauce. The spicy tuna roll was a bit bland. The rice didn't have much flavor and the tuna was not spicy. That was a bit of a let down. The spring rolls were average and not bad. I enjoyed the Tom yum goong. It was spicy which was what I was looking for. The General Tso's chicken was good as well. The chicken was crispy. I would ask for it to have a little more spice next time though. All things considered this was a pretty good meal. We were more than full and had left overs. I would be happy to come back here and try some other things!

This place was ok .. The chicken & steak hibachi .. The chicken was dry the steak was good .. The sushi was just ok nothing special ... Also they where playing rap music which I'm not against but in a restaurant where kids are dinning and the songs use the F word I do not think is a good idea .. This night we did not have kids with us but if I had I would have got up and left .. It's not good business

The calamari served in my recent visit had to be of the frozen variety. That was really disappointing because I want this place to succeed and they do a lot of things very well. If they had simple run out of their product I'd rather hear that than be served frozen Kroger grade calamari. I have also experienced some inconsistency in my overall order. Once we were shorted about 3 items on carry out, and another time I received 4 of something that was supposed to be 5 (or 5 rather than 6 or whatever). The general quality of the food is very good. I know that running a restaurant is very hard work, but I they can just fix the consistency, I think they will be very successful.

We were really pleasantly surprised with this place. I never expected to find a great Asian/Sushi place in Washington C.H. The sushi rolls were fresh and fairly inexpensive . I really enjoyed the Hibachi Chicken meal that came with fried rice and choice of soup and salad for under $7!

LOL reading some of these reviews I can't help but chuckle.. This place isn't bad for what you'd expect from a fayette county sushi joint. But with that said, it's not the greatest sushi and I'd much rather take a trip to the short north to satisfy my sushi cravings. The thai food isn't traditional thai either, it's just your typical american asian food. (general tso's chicken ect.). The prices are about as much as you'd expect from a sushi place in this location.. as mentioned before, this is in a tiny location so you feel a little cramped but they removed a wall to open it up a little which helps. Service is great, can say that! All in all, if you want sushi you could do worse but you could definitely do better but not in the 43160 so dive in.. you won't die of food borne illness! well.. probably not! :)

I love this place as far as the food goes. I normally get salmon hibachi with fried rice, veggies, and a side salad. The side salads there are... generic but the ginger dressing is really good. The California sushi roll is good too. I give it 4 stars because the place smells pretty bad and the placemats are foam which hold bacteria and I don't know how well they clean those things so it kinda freaks me the hell out. Overall it's not bad for good olé Washington court house.

Nagasaki has reopened! It's been recently remodeled, making an already lovely restaurant even better. The interior is painted in red and black. Booths were added. And.. restrooms were added upstairs! Even with that addition, as well as the change in seating, the place actually seems roomier. As always, service is friendly. Owners genuinely seem happy to see you. In my case, they were kind enough to help me navigate the menu to weed out vegetarian possibilities. I'm not generally a fan of fried rice, but theirs is freshly made-perfect. I could seriously make a meal with that and an appetizer or two. Vegetable Tempura was very nice. Light, crisp, fresh. Tofu was also good. But believe it or not, the item I was most impressed by was the hot tea. It's a Jasmine Green tea, brewed from tea leaves, not bags. Heavenly. Has somewhat of a hint of honey/honeysuckle overtones. Mmm. Japanese Bubble Tea was added to the menu. Can't wait to try it! While my order was strictly vegetarian, other diners ordered from the rest of the menu. All I heard were enthusiastic compliments from them. So, while I can't personally vouch for the sushi and other items, I gather from other's responses that everything is great. If you haven't been here yet, check it out. If you have, but it's been awhile, come on back. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Went in early on a weekday evening so I was the only one there = great service. Had sushi and hibachi chicken which were all up to par and reasonably priced. The waitress was really nice. I will return during future business trips.

Was thoroughly impressed with this place, one of the better places in the area to get Quality Asian food. Had a couple sushi rolls and the hibachi meal and were both good choices. The prices are very reasonable and the location is very quaint. The only reason for -1 star is the lack of a public restroom.
